Kading RebrandBest in Brand Marketing Campaign

For their work on the Kading Brand Evolution, Fajen Consulting took home first place as the best brand marketing campaign of 2021.

“Rebranding and brand evolution work with clients is a powerful exercise. The fun is in digging deep into the research. We explore audiences, perceptions, personas, and the company brand archetype to ensure we nail it every time,” said Fajen Consulting owner and CMO, Micholyn Fajen who worked with a business cohort, Amy Hutchins on the project. “We’re proud to have won this award for our client, Kading who is now sporting a new, more intentional brand look.”

Marketing Campaign ExperienceBest in Small Budget Marketing Campaigns

Small-budget marketing campaigns can be tricky. Working with dollars (qualifying projects had budgets of $10,000 or less to accomplish their goals) to create an outstanding marketing campaign means teams have to get creative. But for Fajen Consulting using the power of digital and social media to do some of the heavy lifting can help amplify the message, reach participants or audiences more cost-effectively and connect to new audiences.

For their work with statewide nonprofit, Above + Beyond Cancer’s 2021 smoking cessation campaign, branded the “Cold Turkey Challenge,” Fajen Consulting was awarded the best small budget marketing campaign.

The Cold Turkey Challenge is a statewide nicotine-cessation initiative meant to unify Iowa’s rural communities to breathe in a renewed, smoke-free focus on the health and well-being of its citizens to build a stronger Iowa. The winning community won $50,000 for community betterment projects. This year’s winning community was Mount Vernon, Iowa.
